Artist's Comments

... The faithful monk, upon completing his studies was told to climb up Mt. Rivonia and upon reaching his destination sit and meditate about the meaning of life, happiness and tofu.

Upon reaching his goal , he saw that a beautiful tree with flowering red petals sat gently upon the most fragile of tips.

It had grown strong and big and over the years , a mighty tree filled with many branches and twigs.

To this day, the monk has therapy over that tree , after his OCD fit of Japanese Zenatude was crushed by the tree , which unlike all others before ,was not ideally trimmed down to one twig.

The end , and beginning of Complicated Zen

Always find it interesting that you never find a tree like that unless its ONE damn poor branch.
In real life , its a dying ( or dead ) or skinny tree ,
in art its perfection.

Nature or Art ?
Heheh :D

This is a truly beautiful image. It is incredibly calming to look at even with the red bleeding from the fading white. The title on the image works really well here... Complicated Zen indeed. The faded areas add a sense of mystery and fog while the red draws us in to discover more. This is a beautifully composed shot with the enhanced red and use of red for the writing adding so much impact. You have the ability to capture some fantastic images of nature and I wish you would do more, or at least show more. I applaud you on this image and would proudly hang it on my wall.

personally its is an indescribable work which I feel words could certainly not express properly but two I feel come close are amazing and perfect if only they were better words to express such simple beauty.

Wow , thank you SO much :D
That has to be one of the most insightful comments I have gotten in a LONG time :D
Thank you again.

And do you mean,
the words on the tree itself ?
or in the discription ?

I mean't if only there were better words to describe the tree its just so incredible. Its a jumble of all the positive descriptive words I know and that's what I meant if only there was a word for that being so wonderfully everything. But it can't be everything see because that includes all the bad stuff. See we need a new word in the English language for this tree.

Your welcome.
Thank you.

Hopefully its not the sweetest thing anyone's ever told you. I can think of much sweeter things to say.

(There were a lot of exclamation marks in your reply I'm glad you were that deeply effected by my comment!!!!)
